went to the avenue last night for the first time.OMG!!!

my personal pet hate, not that i don't like the look of it, but more down to the smell of it. the harsh chemical smell effects my lungs like no other product barring bleach. why can't they come out with odorless versions for asthmatics or their spouses? does anyone know of asthma friendly brands?

could someone please tell me this? and why are they so damn expensive? first off...gels bite! and almost all of them are gels...they don't last very long...one can only lasts a few shaves...whereas a cream will last me a couple of months, at least...

next...i have been buying women's shaving creams (sensitive skin with aloe, to be exact...and skintimate's the only one that makes a women's cream)...they cost about a buck more than the men's can--that has more in it! for what? a fru-fru...

Just got a great catalog in the mail, Plus Woman. They use models that look like me (not small, or somewhat plus-sized, but size 28, 30 and up).

Just about everything in the catalog is custom fitted for you - you give them your measurements, and they make the item to fit you. So the fact that I'm 6'1" is no problem.

The prices are a little bit high, around the level of Junonia, but when you consider it is for individually sized clothes, it's not bad at all.

Is it me, or is it nearly impossible to find clothing that appeals to me (I'm twenty two) that is plus sized? And by plus sized I mean 24-28 not freaking size 12 (if that's plus, somebody in the Fashion Industry failed basic mathmatics...)

I rec'd in the mail last week, a catalog called Zaftique. It is a plus size and supersize women's clothing catalog. They also have a website Zaftique.com. The prices are similar to Junonia, however they do use plus size models. They have swimsuits that go up to a size 40W. I ordered a swimsuit today, I'll let everyone know what I think about it. I spent hours yesterday at the mall trying to find a professional suit but I came up with nothing. Any of the suits that I found ran under a size 18. It was depressing!

The only thing I found was a pinstrip suit pant at JcPenny, but they didn't have the jacket to go with it. WTF? why would you order the pants but not the jacket? ugh
